Your money is SACRED. If you don’t invest it in the right places it will find a way in someone else’s pocket who knows how to use it better.
…Whether you like it or not.
The only way to get more out of money is finding the best use of it and if you are an online business or you want to create a successful online business, spending money on advertising to attract more clients is the best use of your money. PERIOD.
Any business that does not advertise to sell their offers, will FAIL. It simply cannot succeed.
But I can tell you what’ll happen even with that failing business… when the business goes belly-up, they will advertise to sell the failing business.
Any smart person would get this, but we attach too much energy to our money. TIME not money is the most valuable resource.
You can always get the money back…. infact think about this – even if you make $10 an hour you can make a million dollars over a long enough period.
- $10 x 6 hours a day = $60 x 5 days = $300 a week or $1200 per month
- $1200 x 12 = $14,400 per year.
- $1,000,000 / $14,400 = 69 years to MAKE a million (not keep $1M).
- If you only save about 10% each month all you have to do is live 690 years and you’ll $1,000,000 saved up! HURRAY!
….HUGE PROBLEM People DIE!
Just don’t die with “If only I did this…. that…. whatever”. The pain of regret is HEAVY.
Enough philosophy, let’s talk business:
I’ll show you the mistakes people make and if you don’t make them – you will not attract people with no-money to your offers.
The thing about people who are Okay with the NO INVESTMENT, NO GROWTH Life (Usually also the people who say they have no money in invest):
These people usually have the most number of questions, they’ll talk the most, they will tell you they are going to be your next best success story but when it comes to investing in their own growth – they either don’t have the money or they don’t want to invest.
That wastes time and as I mentioned before TIME (not money) is the most important so I take this very seriously.
Fundamental Groundwork:
1. How painful is the problem, How much is it costing them to stay the same?
This is a the main factor. A bleeding neck problem needs to be solved now and will command higher prices so sometimes the ad is not the problem the offer is.
A marriage counsellor cannot charge what a divorce lawyer that has a track-record of saving all your estate can.
If the pain/cost of remaining the same is more than your price – you’ll be able to make easy sales.
The cost of not knowing how to make $20,000 per month is $20,000 per month….
EVERY MONTH!
It’s costing you that much each month you’re ignorant towards this make-money-online thing and finally making it happen.
2. Demographics:
You cannot sell Rolex watches to college kids, their parents – sure!
But check the demographics. Super young people usually cannot buy high ticket services. In my own targetings I remove anyone under 30 to avoid wasting time.
3. Perceived Value and Competition:
Are you the only game in town? Are you their top of mind? Do you have a USP?
What is your competition priced at? In most cases if your competition is selling lower ticket items you’ll have to come up with a unique name or unique mechanism to differentiate your offer to be able to charge more.
For example: If you’re in the car market, you can only sell a Toyota at a certain price and then you hit the price limit, nobody wants to spend $100K on a Toyota.
What do you do? Be a Rolls-Royce! People have no control over expensive = better mindset. So sometimes if you’re the most expensive there are certain people who will go with you just because you’re expensive.
I entered a market where my competition was $500 but I was $3K… I still got a ton of sales. Why? Whenever someone asked me: “Why are you so expensive, Mr. X is $500…” And I said:
“Why do you think STILL SO MANY PEOPLE choose me over Mr. X? Even though I am 6 times more expensive?”
Then they answered the objection themselves, I didn’t have to do anything. They sold ME to themselves – Expensive = better mindset for the WIN!
Now let’s talk about the mistakes, if you have the Fundamental groundwork sorted, the mistakes are easier to fix.
Mistakes People Make (Personal Experience)
I made this mistake back in 2018 when I had a high converting offer that I tested with at least $50,000+ in ad spends and it was working like GANG-BUSTERS.
I wanted to scale it up ASAP to make another 7 figure funnel happen but when my new ads hit the FB platform I started getting applications from people who could not afford my services.
It was as if I somehow tapped into a hidden corner of the FB where the algorithm started punishing me…. the algo is not against you – if your ads don’t work it’s you!
“How is a piece of code going to hate you Prashant…. find a fix!” – I said to myself and started investigating the issue.
Let me list out my mistake and common mistakes I see others make that attract the wrong people that will NEVER buy your high ticket programs:
Mistakes:
1. Avoid FREE: Saying things like FREE Webinar! Guess what this FREE attracts? Freebie seekers. Instead say EXCLUSIVE Webinar.
2. NO FREEBIE: Don’t Imply you’re giving them FREEBIES if you want to sell them a high ticket program later. You’ll get cheaper leads but these leads don’t convert.
What you can do instead is say something that truly makes your market tick, like one of my best performing ads said “How to get other people to pay for your FB Ads”
This used curiosity and then I went on to say:
“I have a video where I show you this and ______ and _____ but I don’t know how long I can keep it online because the last time I revealed it I got a legal notice…so if you want to _____, ____ and ____ click here to watch the exclusive video”
The mistake I made when I wanted to scale is I wanted to attract a bigger audience to see my ads to my ad copy went generic and instead of saying How to get others to pay for FB ads which attracted people already running FB ads.
I ran an ad that said: “How To Get Paid Traffic for FREE”
On the surface this looks like a great hook but it FAILED.
And even though the CTR and CPC were phenomenal and the best EVER but the conversion rate was very bad…. because it attracted people who want FREE TRAFFIC which is basically anyone with a website.
The one before that attracted people who were already running ads, this part:
“How to get others to pay for your ads“
3. VSL Copy: Even in the VSL copy don’t say free strategy call…. call it implementation call or qualification call. In the VSL show them:
- What is their biggest problem,
- How it’s affecting them and how much it’s costing them not to fix,
- How it can be solved,
- What solving it looks like (future pacing),
- How you can solve it for them
- CTA
In fact, in most of my webinars I say something which might piss off some people but when you have a big list (I have around 119,000 people now) you do have some people with no money in there – which is fine.

NOTE: I understand people have different situations and I respect that but I also respect my time.
Here’s what I say before letting them book a call:
“Now if you’re still here, I know you’re looking to solve _____ otherwise you wouldn’t have stayed for this long.
And even though I have helped 100s of people solve this for their business, I have a huge limitation with this program. See we get a ton of applications and interest for this because number 1 the program works and 2 we literally get paid only when you do so it’s a win-win.
The huge limitation is that I cannot work with people who cannot invest right now…. this is not for broke people or people who are okay with the no investment, no growth kind of lifestyle that has kept them where they are for years without any progress. I can understand that times are tough but I simply cannot help you because this level of intensive coaching to success requires an investment.
However, when you book a call and you and I decide to work together you’re literally guaranteed results just like all these other people I’ve helped (video of testimonials being scrolled).”

Note: I’m assuming you’re using the standard call funnel or something that looks similar:

Trouble-Shooting Ads:
If your ads are attracting no-money people. Do this:
- Check your offer FIRST.
- Are you using the word FREE or NO COST (used to work in 2016-17 not anymore).
- Are you implying FREEBIES or DOWNLOADS? Don’t do it. Instead have a low ticket front-end offer (FSO) and start a transactional relationship with them.
- I’ve tested running a paid VSL and it works better than FREE VSL because people are more receptive and it still leads to the call. Same funnel as above but instead of free VSL they pay $3-9.99 to watch the VSL.
- Pre-qualify on the VSL: This is only for ____ who want ____.
- If you use a questionnaire on the call application page include a finance related question with checkbox: (1) I can invest to grow fast, (2) I cannot invest, (3) I have access to credit.
Simple Ad Template That Eats 6 Figures For Breakfast (The Why-What-How Framework):
Why
Start your ad with a compelling question that begins with “Why.”
Ask, “Why (problem)?”
This WHY / PROBLEM section grabs the prospect’s attention and shifts them from mindless scrolling to recognising their Problem State or Nightmare State. Example:
- “Why do women over 35 struggle to lose weight?”
- “Why are copywriters struggling to get clients?”
What
What is the OUTCOME. What is the end result, the “happily ever after”, the Dream State, the awesome transformation the prospect wants to experience?
We state the OUTCOME they will achieve with our Product / Service. Example:
- “What if you could slim down without getting hungry, and without wasting hours at the gym?“
How:
How is the PROCESS / MECHANISM. It can be your Unique Mechanism, or it can be your deliverable.
The HOW / PROCESS part of the ad continues to move the prospect from Problem State to Solution State (prospect is seeking a SOLUTION to get the OUTCOME).
The prospect is Solution Aware, possible Product Aware (Schwartz). Example:
- “The reason women can’t get those pounds off is “leaky gut”. The way to heal your gut naturally is by following this (whatever XYZ system/method approach).“
