Yes, it’s that powerful…. and it has a weird name too – ‘The Rabbit Hole Strategy’.
I have only ever taught this to a few people in my closest mastermind and my team members…. not because I’m the only one using it but because I know most people are too lazy to pull this off.
But once implemented it can get you days like these:
This is from the first time I implemented this successfully. This is really powerful when done right and I’m going to reveal it all here today – holding nothing back.
What is the Rabbit Hole Strategy?
This is how a rabbit hole looks in my business. I want the target market to slip down the rabbit hole and discover all the pieces of my marketing. Because I know from experience (I’ve been doing this since 2008) that the more content they consume, the more they know that I understand my stuff and am an authority that can help.
That helps me sell MORE and with MORE EASE.
Ever heard the expression “going down the rabbit hole?”
Basically the way we operate in the online space is that we start consuming someone’s content be it a Frank Kern, Alex Harmozi, Russell Brunson or some other influencer and then suddenly the algorithms start showing you more content from these people.
They gain top of mind awareness for you.
You see them everywhere and consume their content if it’s good. You come into their sphere of influence which makes it easier for them to sell stuff to you or convince you of new ideas.
This is the power of the rabbit hole. The best part is, the algorithms support it.
They will serve your content to more people if you can get them into your universe.
One person who did it really well is ____________________, here’s the image of this person, if you know the name (left it blank intentionally) you know he got you in his rabbit hole (or you’re against his ideas, even in that case you’re in his rabbit hole because you’re consuming his content for love or hate)!
Why it works and Why do I think it’s the future?
When you want to sell high ticket you are not just competing against other coaches, consultants or businesses.
You’re competing against the car down payment or family holiday that is long due….
… all of which are more sexy than attending a course.
So the people you attract as leads need to be convinced that you can deliver the results to them. Otherwise the risk is too big.
If the pain of staying the same is bigger you have a sale.
If they trust that you’re the one who can help them and get the RESULTS THEY WANT, you have a sale.
If you’re a celebrity in the market and everyone wants to work with you, you’ll sometimes get sales from people who don’t even need what you want. That is real power and influence.
…but relax, you don’t have to get to that stage. We’re going to make quiet 🤫 millions.
The reason it works:
TOP OF MIND AWARENESS: If people think funnels they think Clickfunnels.
We want the similar association to our target audience and that is done by being in front of them everywhere.
To the point they are consuming your content everywhere….
…and then when you hit them with your direct response ads they book a call and buy because you did 90% marketing and 10% closing.
Most sales today and in the future will be made before the decision to book a call or establish contact is made. So being top of mind aware is important.
Also they need to know you know your stuff. Nobody wants to work with a person with no track record (…but we all start newbies).
Examples:
- Spiritual Coaches sharing strategies on IG → Selling personal readings as an FSO (first step offer).
- Bodybuilding coaches sharing exercises on IG/FB → Selling personal training.
Most people build an audience first and then create the offer.
BUT WE ARE SMARTER
We will manipulate what they see by running video-view ads instead of praying for the tech-gods for their mercy and hoping our content goes viral.
I HATE HOPE BASED MARKETING but 98% of people who struggle remain stuck there…. they hope tomorrow will be better. They hope the next product, funnel, software is going to change their lives and then they eventually QUIT because what they HOPED FOR did not happen.
Anyway…that’s a post for another day. Let’s talk implementation:
How Do You Implement This Strategy:
You don’t need a lot really. I track my traffic (Hyros) and most of my $3,000-$5,000 buyers on an average consume about 5-6 pieces of content from me before they book a call….
I have it structured in a way that if people don’t want what I have – they can’t even book a call.
The good thing is, if they book a call it’s mainly because they have last minute questions so the calls are short, non-salesy and I just collect the money right over the phone.
So here’s a quick implementation guide:
- Create 30-45 videos (1 video per day on your cell phone for the next 45 days).
- Add them to your FB, IG and YT shorts accounts.
- Once you have all 45 done you should have some traction already.
And I’m guessing by this point you do have a high ticket offer otherwise you have no business making it this far (What if you don’t? Contact my support and I’ll hook you up).
So once you have the content ready you start running VIDEO VIEW ads on FB with all your content.
Optimize it for maximum reach and retarget all the people who have visited your website.
Alternate Strategy
You could also do it the other way around which is what Frank Kern used to do. Basically you run video view ads to a completely open targeted FB Adset and let the algorithm optimize for the views.
They don’t want to piss off people and they have a ton of data on people so they show your content to your target audience and then you retarget people who viewed atleast 50% of your videos with direct response ads that lead to your offer.
This gets you cheaper CPCs.
🔥 What works for me the best is once I have people in my universe I keep showing them my content (video views) and then keep targeting them with my offers where I collect money.
Doing this I’ve managed to build quite a big list too:
What Kind of Content Do You Share or Create?
- Tell Me More: Content that makes them go “Tell me more…”. This could be a little known trick, a new tool that is launched – basically anything where they’d want to know more.
- Results in Advance: Give them the result in advance and they will automatically trust you. For example if after you read a post on my article about the expiring date conversion rate hack you instantly saw an increase of 3% in your conversions – would you not trust me more?
- Case Studies: Like I sometimes share on this site. How I made $8,700 in 3 hours using _________, or how I reversed my diabetes using _________ in 3 days without ____________. You get the point.
- Steal like an artist: See what other good influencers in your industry are doing and steal like an artist (read the book or summary if you don’t know what I mean). And since you’re going to be running video view ads which are super cheap you’re going to do better than organic.
High Ticket Buyers Need To Believe 4 Things Before They Spend Money:
- They need what you have.
- You are trustworthy and know your stuff.
- You can and are willing to help (not just in it for the money).
- Your product ACTUALLY works.
Basically what you’re doing with the rabbit hole strategy is getting them in your universe and showing them more content that solves their problem or pain.
And by doing that you’re literally handling all the 4 things above.
That gets high ticket sales.
What to do if you don’t have a high ticket offer?
- Doing the high ticket offer plus
- The marketing plus
- Content Creation plus
- Funnel testing plus
- Ads plus
- Rabbit hole strategy plus
- Other moving parts…
….this is a lot of work but if done right it can make 6-7 figures as I’ve already shared.

Action Plan:
Day 1:
- Create a list of all the topics you think the market wants in a google sheet and keep updating it. AnswerthePublic.com is a good resource but your own research is better.
- Create a list of creators in your space so you can track what they are doing and steal like an artist (do not copy their content).
- Decide your camera and mic setup. Audio is more important than video.
- Get a video editing software like Camtasia and a captioning app Captions.ai
Day 2:
- Record your first 5-7 videos. Edit them later and don’t worry about making mistakes you can always use jump cuts. If you make an error start from the beginning of that sentence and jump-cut during editing.
- Upload 1 video a day everyday.
Day 3:
- Make sure you have Google analytics installed on your website and FB Pixel is in place (retargeting won’t work otherwise).
- Make a few more videos.
- Edit and create a folder structure to store the videos.
Day 4:
- Make some more videos.
- Start running video view ads for a budget of $5-$20.
- It’ll take a few days to optimize so don’t worry if you see only a few people watching 50%.
- Make sure you turn of AUDIENCE NETWORK in the placement. Use manual placements and run only on FB and IG.
Day 5-45:
- Keep adding more videos to the ad set and keep video views going.
- Start running direct response ads to your sales page (if you don’t already).
- If you’re collecting emails as well start writing 1 email a day for the first 30 days and then cycle the same emails over on day 31. Nobody remembers what they read 30 days back in an email…. this gives you an infinite email follow up sequence.
- Enjoy the rabbit hole money.
Conclusion:
- The rabbit hole strategy works really well for high ticket because you gain authority and trust by being top of mind.
- Do not test this with unproven offers, this requires some work but it’s all worth it for the right offer.
- Have a system to implement this without fail everyday…. the results are not instant but you’ll see people coming back after months to buy your high ticket programs.
So it’s a long term play… I’ve had people booking calls since 2021 because they like what I do but don’t have the money! - Also in most cases if the user saw you for the first time by clicking on your ad and he likes what he sees but wants to do some research – the rabbit hole strategy basically is a DONE-FOR-YOU research for them. You can literally just point them in the direction of your pages and they can decide based on your content whether they want to work with you or not.
TRUST in this age of online skepticism and scams is hard to gain but if you share the right things – you have the edge because others….. well they are getting lazy!
